Slash, For All Your Fan-Fic Needs
In non video game news, there’s a new Kickstarter I’m interested in: Slash: romance. For anyone who’s read fan fiction before the phrase should be familiar, for everyone else here’s a quick breakdown: people write stories about existing characters in relationships they’d like to see them pursue. Like Harry Potter dating Hermione Granger. What makes this Kickstarter interesting is that it’s all about setting up those interesting (and ridiculous) pairings for judgement by the player selected to be the judge. It reads like a pop-culture romance version of Cards Against Humanity.
