Atlus Going Under?
Atlus‘ parent company, Index, is going through something called “civil rehabilitation proceedings” due to recent allegations of shady business practices. Helpful NeoGaf user Mandoric gives us a pretty straight forward answer to the “what the hell are “civil rehabilitation proceedings?” question.
What does this mean for the future of Atlus? No one really knows, but when the parent company is bleeding and under investigation it doesn’t spell good things for the future of the company’s holdings. Here’s hoping someone picks up Atlus if Index goes under.
